I love the simplicity of this book. As a principal in an urban school district, I have been able to recommend it to parents without them feeling intimidated by over involved jargon that separates them from gaining real strategies that can be easily transferred to their own lives.
Although I am not a single parent this book can still be a tool in raising a Son. It was thought provoking and it had me checking myself on some of my behavior while raising my Sons. This is a must read for any mom raising a Son or Sons.
